SPOILER ALERT: This review contains details of Live in Front of a Studio Audience tonight: All in the Family by Norman Lear and The Jeffersons on ABC. So, if you don't want to know what happened, don't be a meathead and read more.

"It's live," said Jamie Foxx tonight after flubbing a line on ABC's Live in Front of a Studio Audience: Norman Lear's All in the Family and The Jeffersons to a suddenly wide awake America.

Norman Lear & Producer Brent Miller On' All In The Family' &' The Jeffersons ' Live Redux Tonight & A Potential Franchise' Everyone at home just thought their TV was messed up,' the Oscar-winning actor with trained recovery skills, breaking his character as fellow cast members like Woody Harrelson's Archie Bunker, Ellie Kemper, Ike Barinholtz, Anthony And Anthony.

At that moment, as everyone was letting out the tension of expectation, getting loose and finding the deep groove at the same time, you knew these pros had come to play and take us back to some reborn classic TV.

In the midst of the 90-minute special's high and mostly forgivable dips, Foxx's direct genius joined Jennifer Hudson in belting out that "Movin On Up" theme song; almost everything Wanda Sykes and Tomei did; and Marla Gibbs ' truly wonderful surprise as the best of Jimmy Kimmel's co-hosted re-staging of the iconic sitcoms of the producer.

Otherwise, when my parents and I hurled in Sanford, Hemsley, Gibbs and gang, I was back on those nights as a kid in the greatest tribute to the overcoming original and the re-staging.

Or as Norman Lear said tonight to Jimmy Kimmel, "I've been sitting in an audience chair and I've been!"So, if the ratings against the Chicago Med and Chicago Fire season-enders of NBC are strong enough, can we have more? And let's have that tune again .
